Felix Baumgartner to Tackle the Nürburgring 24
We all watched Felix's supersonic leap to Earth in 2012 during his famous Red Bull Stratos Jump. Now, Baumgartner will tackle another challenging adrenaline rush, the famous Nürburging 24 Hour race later this year. He'll be driving an Audi R8 LMS Ultra. Felix Will team up with past LeMans winners as he tries out do his latest challenge. He's occasionally raced before, but this would be his first well-known and popular competition for the daredevil. This new effort is all part of Audi's new racing program which allows more customers to take to the track. Baumgartner though, is the first prominent driver the racing program has seen since its introduction in 2010.

The Nürburging 24 is always a spectacle and a challenge. Besides the length, the weather often plays havoc with teams and racers. Last year, in fact, the race was stopped several times, and drivers are fighting against loads of other racers in other classes. This will indeed be a perfect race for the multi-talented Baumgartner.
