Geneva: Maserati Alfieri Concept Puts Jag and Porsche on Notice [w/ video]
Prior to the Geneva Motor Show, there was a rumor floating around of a sexy new Maserati coupe making its debut. It wouldn’t be the first time we heard that, so we took it with our standard grain of salt. But lo and behold, those rumors came true, in the form of the jaw-droppingly gorgeous Maserati Alfieri Concept. Likely a preview to the production version of the future GranSport, the Alfieri comes with some sexy angles reminiscent of the current lineup. Up front, Maserati’s signature grille and Trident emblem are embedded, along with a smooth hood line and a sharp profile.

Under the hood, this enticing coupe gets a 460-horsepower 4.6-liter V8. This power is paired to a six-speed electro-actuated gearbox and a limited slip differential. No official specs are on hand just yet.
With power and looks this good, this Maz could have the Porsche 911 and Jaguar F-Type on notice when it hits production (likely) as the GranSport in 2016. We can’t wait to see that battle, but you can hear it as it is unveiled below:
