2015 Jeep Renegade Hits the Web, Looks Adorable
Is America ready for an Italian-built baby Jeep? We better be, because it’s here, and it’s pretty freakin' adorable. The 2015 Jeep Renegade just hit the web ahead of its official reveal in Geneva later this week. With Chrysler and Fiat now in bed together, it’s no surprise that this mini-Jeep shares a platform with the 500L and upcoming 500X. Albeit a bit more trail-ready. Up top, the quirky design shows off some very signature Jeep features, melded together with a boxy frame and a newly trademarked My Sky dual sunroof. We won’t know full details until later this week, but officials did tell Autonews that the Renegade was “designed in America and built in Italy," and it will be the first mini-SUV to offer a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive only. The Renegade will also come available with both gas and diesel engine options.
We can’t wait to see this thing taking on the trails.
