Magnum MK5 Track Car Makes World Debut in South Florida
We were on hand last night to watch the Magnum MK5 makes its U.S. debut at the Boca Raton Concours pre-party in South Florida. And we were delightfully surprised — this Canadian track car was even prettier in person. Talking to President and CTO Bruno St-Jacques, we got a better idea of just how potent this stunning track monster was. The 4-cylinder Hayabusa motorcycle engine pushes out 250 horsepower and the extremely light weight would propel it like no other, with a power-to-weight ratio of 460 horsepower per ton. All built from the ground up (other than the engine).
St-Jacques had this to say about the car's unveiling in Boca Raton:
“We are extremely proud to have been invited to be part of the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance. This is one of the most renowned automotive events in the world; it will be an honor for Magnum to have the MK5 showcased alongside some of the greatest names in the exotic automotive industry.”
