Audi Rethinks Car Interiors with Next-Gen TT
We’ve spent a bit talking about the growing importance of the Consumer Electronics Show. A prime example of this growing importance is Audi’s choice to reveal the interior of the next TT coupe/roadster at CES. Audi has long been at the head of the pack when it comes to thoughtful driver interfaces and tech-heavy interior layouts, but the rest of the market is starting to catch up. Not content to be overtaken, the German automaker debuted an entirely new interior layout for its the next-generation TT sportscar.

The new cabin puts even more information in front of the driver, in a more thoughtful manner. The navigation screen is now right in the center of the instrument panel, with other crucial information also presented.

Even the HVAC controls have been re-imagined, as the temperature controls have been moved to a dial in the center of the vents. It is a terrific use of space, and plays well into the minimalist aesthetic of roadsters like the TT.
