2015 Chrysler 200 Gets a Major Makeover
Normally, we wouldn't bother to spend time talking about the humble Chrysler 200. It is only a luxury-badged Dodge Avenger sedan, after all. Or at least it used to be. Then this shining piece of engineering came along — the 2015 Chrysler 200, and it's actually a looker. Unlike the previous 200, Chrysler actually put an honest effort into designing this vehicle from the ground-up. The headlights and grille are seamlessly molded into the front end — these new smooth and sophisticated lines really give it that luxury feel the 200 has been endlessly searching for. New wheels are also a big improvement, and in the back you also get handsome new taillights. That said, the lines would look even better if this vehicle were a coupe — something we might expect to see in the near future.
Chrysler hasn't released any official details regarding what's under the hood, but we hear that the 200 will come with both a 2.4-liter inline-four capable of 184 horsepower, and a 3.6-liter V6 good for 295 horsepower. Both utilizing a nine-speed transmission, with 35mpg in return.
