Jon Olsson's Audi RS 6: Winter Wagon Wonderland
The one thing we love about professional skier Jon Olsson is that he's not afraid to take the world's most pristine sportscars, and turn them into ski-hauling snowmobiles. We've already seen his bold and beautiful R8 brave the cold, but for winter weather 2014, he went for something a little different — the Audi RS 6 Avant. Of course, the RS 6 Avant is no R8. It has more doors, a fat behind, and room enough for five normal-sized adults. But don't forget, the 4.0-liter V8 still delivers 560 horsepower and propels this beautiful machine from 0-60 mph in only 3.9 seconds.
Jon Olsson took this one-of-a-kind winter wagon and made it his own. Utilizing the work of Stertman Motorsport, the RS 6 received a full winter camo makeover from head to toe. The wheels and tires were also upgraded to handle the snow, and it's all lowered onto an H&R suspension kit.
While this RS 6 Avant may definitely look the part, Olsson says that it's one of the few cars from factory that he's had "blow [his] mind," and that the only thing comparable was the 1,000+ horseower Agera R. Now that's saying a lot, especially for a wagon.
