Saleen Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Muscle Car Trio
Saleen — the long time tuning house responsible for custom Mustangs, Camaros and muscle cars alike — has introduced a trio of new cars for 2014. The custom Mustang, Camaro and Challenger each are set to honor the brand's 30 year history, and bring with them loads of power and some subtle upgrades. Dubbed the SA-30 line, the 620 Camaro, 570 Challenger and 302 Mustang are three of the most advanced Saleens built to date. Under the hood, the supercharged Mustang throws down 625 horsepower via a supercharged V8. Power figures on the Challenger and Camaro aren't official just yet, but we expect somewhere near the same for those two.
Exterior features include a full panoramic roof — but it's not a standard glass roof, oh no. The custom Saleen Frost-Touch glass gives owners the chance to transform from translucent to opaque with a button located on the dashboard. Saleen says that it's one of the first times this feature is available anywhere in the auto industry. Other cues include custom 30th anniversary badging, yellow and black accents and a full white getup from body to wheels. Only ten each of these custom Saleens will go into production with an out-the-door price of $95K.
