Jaguar F-Type Coupe Headed to LA Auto Show
Usually when an automaker releases a new sportscar, a hardtop version comes before the more niche convertible. But Jaguar threw these social norms out the window (or open top, we should say), by releasing the much-loved F-Type convertible first, and preparing a hard top for 2015. Like the standard F-Type before it, the F-Type Coupe — from what we can see — comes with many similar cues in the front and back, albeit with a hard top. The coupe features a panoramic sunroof to give you that airy feel, without the added drawbacks of an open top. When it hits production, much of the design is likely to be inspired by the C-X16 concept we saw a few years back.
Jaguar says that the F-Type coupe will be on display later this month at the LA Auto Show, and will be available in dealerships by spring of 2014. Jaguar hasn't released specs or pricing as of yet. RELATED: See More Photos of the 2015 Jaguar F-Type Coupe
