Aston Martin DB5 Worthy of James Bond Set for Nov. Auction
An Aston Martin doesn’t have to have been used by James Bond to be considered a really special vehicle. The pop culture infatuation with the Aston Martin DB5 means that the sale of any one of them is a special occasion. One such DB5 is about to be auctioned off by a very appropriate outfit.
Silverstone Auctions is the exclusive automotive auction house of the Silverstone race circuit in the UK. The Auction house is bringing this 1965 Aston Martin DB5 to the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, November 15-17, 2013.

The car is painted in the iconic Silver Birch color, helping to make the James Bond connections. This particular Aston spent some time in Australia before being restored to like-new condition.
The DB5 is estimated to go for 280,000 to 310,000 ($446,754 to $494,620). See what it really goes for when it crosses the auction block a month from now in the UK.
