2015 Audi R8 Gets Digitally Rendered
The 2015 Audi R8 is a car we'd likely put on our shortlist when it hits showrooms sometime in the next few years. It's said to be more powerful, more technologically advanced, and possibly hybrid (think P1, LaFerrari). But what's it going to look like? That's a question that no one outside – or probably even inside of Audi – can really answer at this point. German designer Sebastian Kunz – better known as Neofrog – gave us his take on what the new and improved Audi could look like. And we hope he's right.
Taking some obvious cues from the current R8, the concept previews a sharper, more streamlined design for Audi engineers. You could even say that it took some cues from the Nanuk Quattro concept we saw in Frankfurt only a few weeks back with its aggressive fascia and long, muscular lines.
Of course, engine details are still on the down low, but we expect the same V10 to put down somewhere near 600 horsepower via some sort of hybrid powertrain. But for now, we just have our imaginations and one brilliant concept.
