Race-Ready Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse Takes to the Road
There's really no denying that the Lamborghini Gallardo is truly a pretty thing. Even more so now in 2013. And with every "new" Gallardo, comes a host of special editions which leave us amazed that such a supercar could get any prettier. Case and point- the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse (try saying that five times fast). It's essentially a gussied up Gallardo that bears an uncanny resemblance to the Superleggera. And like the Superleggera, the Squadra Corse comes with 570-hp via a tuned V10, all-wheel-drive, a bootylicious carbon fiber rear wing, and more skirts and flaps than one man would know what to do with.
With all this new race-inspired technology afoot, the Gallardo manages 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.4 seconds, on to a slightly gut-wrenching top speed of 199 mph (320 km/h). Inside, you get the option of a handsome set of bucket racing seats, lined to the brim with Alcantara. And the center console, steering wheel, door panels and a host of other interior trim, all sculpted from carbon fiber.
The race-happy Lambo will take to the stage come September at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, and likely go on sale by the end of the year. Prices have yet to be announced. PHOTOS: See more of the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse
