Nissan 370Z Price Lowered for 2013

Any time that a performance coupe is more financially attainable, it puts a smile on our collective faces. So with the week coming to an end, we have news that Nissan is lowering the price of the 370Z, at least for the UK. The new price of the rear-wheel drive coupe is £26,995, putting it right down in the target area for the Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S. That is for a stripped-out base model, featuring the updated front fascia and LED head-and-taillights. That price would translate to about $40,000, which is not so hot for Americans, but we're hoping the actual US price will be lower. If you want some more gear like 19-inch wheels, an uprated stereo, and a navigation system that will set buyers in the UK back £31,995. Oh yeah, and the NISMO 370Z is back. The beefed up Z gets 339 horsepower and 276 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The NISMO Z also gets a stiffer suspension, grippier brakes, and performance tires. We'll see what changes in pricing we American consumers will get on the Z. In the meantime, we can only imagine tooling around in a 370Z with NISMO affixed to the aft.
