MINI Chimes In on all the March Madness With Some Clever Marketing
If you've ever built a bracket for the NCAA's March Madness mens' basketball tournament, you know by now, there's no point. Inevitably, a 14 or 15 seed will come seemingly out of nowhere and destroy any aspirations you had at cashing in on this years tourney. Just like last year. For the 2013 tournament then, teams like Florida Gulf Coast, Oregon and Wichita State have made us all weep uncontrollably as we feel our wallets inevitably getting lighter by the game. MINI on the other hand, has embraced all this March madness and seem to be cashing in on all the underdog glory.
In the cleverly named "#WinSmall" campaign dreamt up by the imaginative MINI marketing department, the company is embracing the underdog with a few clever photoshops of ducks and birds stuffed inside MINIs holding basketball. Madness? Absolutely.
