Cadillac Announces Twin-Turbo CTS for New York Auto Show

While the performance-minded Cadillac CTS-V packs more of a punch with its 556-hp Corvette-sourced V8. Now, Cadillac says that it's planning even more power from a twin-turbocharged V6. This powerplant is set to debut at the upcoming New York Auto Show. With the all-new 2014 Cadillac CTS itself also making its official debut in New York, naturally, it's expected to bear the equally as new 420-hp twin-turbocharged engine. Cadillac says the new engine will be paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission which will return an estimated 17/25 mpg and manage 60 mph in only about 4.6 seconds. The new CTS will also carry over the standard 3.6L V6 currently available when it hits showrooms near the end of this year.
