Video: Just How Fast Can You Drive on Ice?

It is typically reccomended to take great care when experiencing winter driving scenarios. Driving slow is the prefered method of staying in control, but apparently, the folks at Nokian tires didn't get the memo. They have created the fastest tire on ice...again. The Nokian Hakkapeliitta is a tire bred for a single purpose; driving on ice and snow. To prove this, Nokian fitted them to an Audi RS6 and took to the ice. It was the same car used for a previous world record-setting run by the same tire company. This time, Nokian outdid themselves reaching a measured maximum average speed of 208.602 mph. We would not recommend trying this on home ice, but certainly watch the video to see the professionals do it.
