Cheetah-R Concept: Focused, Confident and Built for Speed
The cheetah is the fastest land animal on the planet. It can run at speeds of up to 112 mph and manages 62 mph in just about five seconds. Naturally, this creature has evolved in the name of quickness, agility and killing baby antelope. But the idea of transforming the sleek and nimble features of a Cheetah into an engineered piece of carbon fiber and machine has never manifested itself in the auto market with much success. Designer Balazs Filczer has set out to change all that with his Cheetah-R concept.
The Cheetah-R, he says, "Is based on the main features of a Cheetah…focused, confident, muscular and dynamic." All of these features, combined with small nuances such as scratches on the tail lights, a spoiler to simulate the hair of a cheetah, and a massive V12, all create the true identity of an animal on the road. Like the cheetah, Balazs developed his Cheetah-R as a concept built completely for speed and agility. And I'm sure, killing baby antelope, if need be.
