Help This Dad Kickstart the Perfect Racing Car Book for His Son
We're all for creative ideas, especially one's that initiate at a young age the need for all things fast, red and shiny. But as one father (Dwight Knwiton) soon found out, his idea for the perfect automotive book for him and his young son to share was nowhere to be found. So he went out and created one himself. The Little Red Racing Car is the story of how one father son duo discovered a 1955 Maserati 300S and re-built it from the ground up. And while we won't spoil it for you, it does have a happy ending.
So far, the dad has received a numerous outpourings and donations from fellow gearheads, and was even granted permission by famed racing driver Sir Stirling Moss to use his name in the book. As of now, he's achieved his goal of $25,000 in donations to finalize production for the book, but could always use more help considering he is planning to donate a large amount to the Phoenix Children's Hospital when finished.
