Kia Pro_Cee'd GT is Freakishly Handsome, Headed for Geneva
In the automotive realm, the word "handsome" is mostly synonymous with the likes of some Italian or German automaker with years of history to account for and one-thousand designers whose sole purpose in life is to decide upon the shape of the door handle. But Kia, with its own large design team, is hoping to be in the same conversation as said "handsome" Italians and Germans. Especially with this; the Pro_Cee'd GT. What was once a fluffy and friendly South Korean hatch, has turned into a butched up, hard-core version of itself. Oh, it comes with more power too, wouldn't you know.
To accent the highly sculpted front-end, complete with a new bumper, LEDs and a larger intake, the GT is said to come with a 1.6-liter twin-scroll turbocharged powerplant sending 204-horsepower to the font wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. All this giddy up is good for an according 0-60mph time of 7.9 seconds. Kia's latest GT car will be on display come this year's Geneva Auto Show, and is expected to go on sale overseas with a €24,000 ($32,000 ) price tag. We always want what we can't have, huh?
