Mercedes Ener-G-Force Concept- It Came From Outer Space!
More closely resembling the Mars Rover than a new Mercedes-Benz SUV, the all-new Ener-G-Force concept is the stuff of sci-fi loving car nerds dreams; complete with futuristic lines, a sleek sliver coated body and an assortment of high-tec LED’s throughout. Based off the current-generation G-Class, the Ener-G-Force ditches the formerly boxy appearance for a more lustrous and shapely appeal. Up front, the box grille has been replaced with a sharper, more aggressive appearance complete with “G” shaped headlights and turn signals/running lights mounted above the headlights on the fenders. The rear is much of the same; a G-Wagon derived shapely rump, but given the same sleek and futuristic makeover. Small, rectangular taillights accent the low-slung body lines, roof-mounted water recycling compartment (seriously) and the military-like, earth-destroying 20-something-inch tires.
Back to the water recycling bit; this SUV, Mercedes claims, is a “clean concept for beyond tomorrow.” Powered by a hydrogen fuel cell system, all the recycled water stored in tanks on the roof, is then transferred to a “hydro-tech converter,” which powers the Hydrogen fuel cell system. A completely natural, clean source of 100% renewable energy. Overall, the Ener-G-Force provides you will all the essential tools for alien murdering, has a highly advanced off-road drive system, and emits nothing but baby penguins out of the exhaust tips; the world’s first true all-in-one SUV.
