Porsche 918 Spyder Caught Testing Stateside

While most of the news surrounding the 759+ horsepower, hybrid Porsche supercar known as the 918 has begun to wind down, it looks Porsche engineers could be making their rounds stateside to further complete testing of the new prototype before inching closer to production. Caught making a run just north of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, we managed to snap up this quick pic of the all new German supercar in the wild bearing its psychedelic number 16 grey on grey paint scheme. PHOTOS: See more of the Porsche 918 Spyder Lest you forget, the all new Porsche is just one of many new 200+ mph supercars expected to debut in the next few years along with the McLaren P1, Acura NSX and Ferrari F70, among others. Expect the 918 Spyder to hit showrooms by late September of next year with a less than thrifty six-digit price tag. (Brett S gets the tip shout-out!)
