Video: Hyundai i20 WRC Warps Time and Eats Dirt

Although we may be somewhat bitter over Hyundai’s sudden departure from North American motorsports, it may not be without merit. Along with the recently exposed i20 WRC, Hyundai unveiled a fantastic preview showing their all new racer defying physics and getting dirty. While the standard i20 -being the affordable and efficient hatch that it is- is nothing to shake a stick at, the all new Hyundai i20 WRC complete with a 1.6-liter turbocharged 300-hp engine and of course, all-wheel drive, is a badass dirt munching monster. Unveiled only recently at this year's Paris Motor Show, the i20 previewed the South Korean groups departure from the North American racing circuit, in order to move on to bigger and better things in the WRC. And though we will miss the spunky Korean group on American racing soil, it does our heart good to witness one of their more forgettable vehicles, turned into a good old-fashioned hard core rally car.
