Hyundai Genesis Coupe R-Spec Track Edition for SEMA Teased by Ark Performance
With all talks lately over the 2012 Paris Motor Show, now only days away, some would forget that the not so subtle 2012 SEMA Show in Vegas is set for October 30 to November 2. With time closing in on many entrees, new details are beginning to emerge as to what spectacular feats of automotive creativity will be finding their way to the Vegas showroom. One of the first of many new projects to break cover comes in the form of a collaboration between South Korean automaker Hyundai, and California based tuning group Ark Performance. After a successful bout with last years Hyundai Veloster, the two have teamed up this year to create an even more hardcore, and provocatively designed racing spec Genesis coupe.
Complete with a stunning red, black and white makeover and a full racing guise, this "ultra-high performance track edition" coupe also bears the standard 3.8-liter V6, reworked to produce 395-hp and race-ready suspension, brakes, wheels and tires. Expect the race-ready Genesis on display when doors open this year at SEMA, and although the name may be a mouthful (Ark Performance Hyundai Genesis Coupe R-Spec Track Edition...), it should be more than an eyeful.
