Tushek Renovatio T500 Gives Slovenia Some Street Cred
This is the Tushek Renovatio T500, and it's Slovenia's first supercar. For those of you who were unaware that Slovenia was even a country, it is, and they build a sweet looking supercar. Granted, Slovenia has never had a reputation of building supercars, or anything of importance for that matter, but for their first attempt they did some pretty impressive work.
Founded by Slovenian born race car driver, Alijosa Tushek, the T500 fulfills his dream of building a completely tubular spaceframe chassis. After an overhaul of his original design and the replacement of the Ford V6 with an Audi sourced 4.2L V8, the T500 is now able to produce over 450 hp in a rather light 1,000kg (2,200lbs) frame.
Autocar drives the TushekTo 60 mph, the Tushek is good for 3.7 seconds and tops out at 193 mph. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. Price for this Slovenian sweetheart will run you about €300,000 ($366,000). See more of the Tushek Renovatio T500 here
