Unveiled: Special Edition Land Rover Makes Off-Roading Awesome Again
Now this is the way a Land Rover is suppose to look, like it's about to be dredged in mud and filled to the brim with camping equipment. The new Land Rover Defender Special Edition gives the standard model a more rugged look with some new paint, tires and trim. Coated in Orkney Grey or Nara Bronze and Santorini Black trim and tires, this special edition pays homage to the classic off-roaders of past. Land Rover even placed a muddy looking special edition "DEFENDER" badge at the back.
The Rover sits on MTR off-road tires and 16-inch black alloy wheels. Inside, the Defender is finished with an Ebony and Almond interior that works "together in perfect harmony" with contrasting Nutmeg stitching (for all the kids out there, that was a Stevie Wonder reference).
Power comes from a 2.2L diesel engine good for 360Nm of torque (around 265 lb-ft) for all your off-road and on-road, but mostly off-road, needs.
