Aston Martin Vanquish Leaked Online
A new Aston Martin is born and it looks like, an Aston Martin. Staying in line with every car they've ever made since 2000, the new Vanquish keeps the sweeping and stunning looks of its DB9 predecessor.
Although this Vanquish clearly does not come with a new design, look a little closer and you will notice some new detailing; a sharper rear end, a new spoiler, a skinnier profile, some updated taillights and a hideous new front splitter. All of these updates now give Aston the right to call this the Vanquish, again.
Thankfully, like every new model, the standard issue V12 gets an upgrade in power. A boost in horsepower of 55 gives the 6.0L engine a total output of 565 hp. This power comes through a six-speed "Touchtronic 2" automatic transmission with paddle shifters and a limited slip diff.
Aston says that the Vanquish is good from 0 to 60mph in about 4.1 seconds (DBS good for 4.3) with a respectable top speed of 183 mph.
More details will emerge on Wednesday as it gets set for its official release.
Since this article was written the official 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish has been revealed and can be found here.
