Unveiled: Aston Martin AM310 Concept
Every year the Concorso d'Eleganza provides us with a look at the ultra-luxurious, ultra-gorgeous concept cars that companies like to show off. This year was no exception. Along with the likes of Lexus, Ford, Alfa and others, Aston Martin revealed their stunning AM310 concept. Like all Astons, the AM310 keeps that beautiful shape. The classic long hood to fit the massive V12 and artfully crafted smooth angles are a sight for sore eyes, especially when their draped in candy apple red. A carbon fiber roof against the red side pillars also gives it a certain je ne sais quoi. What makes this Aston different is it looks a little meaner than usual. On the front an aggressive new carbon fiber splitter clashes with an agape grille. Some new LED's give the headlights more of a downturn and the black and silver painted wheel arches, albeit stunning, are a strange thing to see on an Aston.
Under the bonnet the AM310 carries the same 6.0L V12 found in the old DBS. No specs have officially been released, but we expect the concept to be producing somewhere in the neighborhood of 530-hp, a bit of a boost from the 510-hp DBS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=mO3VwMkzDEs Although Aston Martin has not revealed the AM310 'concept' to be the future DBS, we'll most likely see some minor changes before it hits the production line officially as a DBS."
