Fit for a Dictator: Armored SUV Hits the Market
One of the world’s most expensive SUV has been listed for (get ready...) $500,000! You may recognize the Dartz Prombron armored vehicle from Sacha Baron Cohen’s new controversial film “The Dictator." In lieu of its role in the film, Dartz has named the model the “Aladeen Edition” after Cohen’s character, Admiral General Aldeen.
This super SUV was first unveiled at the Top Marques Show in Monaco. Some of the more notable features are a gold-plated exterior, reclining massage seats, champagne bottle coolers, and wine racks, as well as a choice of ten interior treatments including snake, crocodile, whale, and elephant skin. Not impressed yet? The SUV also comes with eight exterior cameras as well as bulletproof windows with three-inch thick glass with the ability to resist rocket-propelled grenades.
The Latvian auto manufacturer has produced armoured vehicles for Vladimir Lenin, Leon Trotsky and Tsar Nicolas, among others. The Aladeen Edition vehicles range in price from $500,000 to $750,000, depending on the equipment and package options.
