Michael Jordan takes delivery of his £2.8m Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster
The American-made hypercar is now in the hands of the GOAT of professional basketball, thanks to John Hennessey.
Limiting the production of its Venom F5 Roadster to only 30 hypercars, it's inevitable that Hennessey Special Vehicles would receive some big names on the list of bespoke allocations. Whether it be an athlete, celebrity, or another influential individual, every Hennessey customer shares a passion for speed, craftsmanship, and innovation.
Founder John Hennessey and his passionate team are proud to celebrate a special Hennessey Venom F5 delivery for NBA All-Star and avid car collector Michael Jordan. John took the trip from Hennessey headquarters in Texas to sunny Florida to be a part of the former Chicago Bulls champion's hypercar delivery experience.
The new car unveiling took place just north of Jupiter, Florida at Grove XXIII, Michael Jordan's personal and exclusive luxury golf course. Although his spec isn't shown in its entirety on Hennessey Perfromance's Instagram post, you can tell MJ did a knockout job configuring the Venom F5 Roadster in a gloss-exposed carbon fibre finish with vibrant yellow pinstriping.
A sneak peek at the interior shows that lightweight carbon is the main design element of the driver-focused cabin. Powering Michael Jordan's new Venom F5 Roadster is Hennessey's Texas-built 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine named 'Fury.' The record-breaking powertrain generates over 1,817 bhp and 1,193 lb-ft of torque, making it one of the fastest hypercars on the planet. With an ear-to-ear smile on Michael Jordan's face standing next to John Hennessey, we can tell that he will enjoy his new $3.5 million (approx. £2.8 million) Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster.
