Given the firm’s highly exaggerated Inferno widebody kit for the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, customers of the Russian tuner Topcar certainly don’t expect to blend in. Now, the business is making sure that at least one client has a custom interior that’s every bit as ostentatious as the outside.
The wild upholstery mixes crocodile skin, quilted leather, a suede headliner, and carbon fiber trim. All of this is in an eye-popping shade of red, which makes us wonder if the client might be colorblind. Blonde wood on the dashboard and doors goes a little way towards subduing the overwhelmingly crimson surroundings. If you see this and somehow want more, Topcar also offers a 24-karat gold package for the GLE-Class, which must be even more excessive.
If this client wanted such an extravagant interior, we wouldn't be surprised if the person ordered Topcar’s powertrain upgrades, too. On the Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe, the firm can add an extra 131 horsepower and 117 pound-feet of torque to the already potent biturbo 5.5-liter V8 that makes 577 hp and 561 lb-ft stock. The added muscle should be plenty to speed away from people who start laughing as soon as they see the inside of this ostentatious SUV coupe.
