The headlights are more curved compared to the angular lighting clusters of the new A4 Sedan/Avant and you’ll also notice the lower edge is not cut in half like on the A4s. The headlight graphics are also different and the LED daytime running lights signature has also been redesigned.
As it’s the case with the A4s, Audi will probably give buyers the possibility to choose from xenon, LED, and matrix LED headlights with those fancy dynamic turn signals.
In another GIF, Audi hints the body of the new 2017 A5 Coupe will be more aerodynamic compared to the outgoing model which has a drag coefficient of 0.29. A sleeker body corroborated with a healthy weight loss thanks to the MLB Evo platform and more frugal engines will make the A5 considerably more efficient.
Thanks to yet another short teaser, Audi points out the new A5 will be offered with an optional adaptive damping suspension. In the A4, it lowers the ride height by 10 mm and offers various suspension and damping combinations adjustable via the Audi drive select.
As a reminder, Audi will host the world premiere of the A5 Coupe on June 2 at home in Ingolstadt. The road to reveal kicks off tonight with the “Audi Late Light Show” which will continue for the next five evenings with a light show prepared by Hungarian group of artists “Maxin10sity” at the Audi Forum building.
