Rolls-Royce has arrived at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este with a Phantom Drophead Coupe part of the Zenith Collection.
Serving as a last hurrah for the Phantom Coupe and Phantom Drophead Coupe, the Zenith Collection brings a series of special goodies to mark the end of the road for both models. A total of 50 cars will be made until the end of the year and all of them have already been sold to high-end customers invited by Rolls-Royce.
As it’s the case with all cars featuring the elegant Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament, it’s all about the details with these Zenith Collection Phantoms. Rolls-Royce is installing a big fridge that can store two champagne bottles and all cars come bundled with eight RR-branded glasses and a new picnic table. The split-tailgate incorporates a glass shelf while the cabin is home to a special starlight headliner created specifically for the sold-out edition.
Those 50 wealthy individuals have the chance to pick from a series of classic Rolls-Royce paints, some of which are a nod to the Phantom II (1929-1936). The cars are getting a brushed steel speedometer and new leather upholstery that has a different shade on the front seats compared to the rear ones. As you would expect from a limited-run model, the cars feature special plaques denoting the build number.
These are truly the very last Phantom Coupe and Drophead Coupe units as the two models will not live to see another generation.
