Production limited to 700 copies.

The BMW M4 GTS is an "exclusive technological showpiece which elevates the potential of the BMW M4 Coupe to another impressive new level," or in other words - the most powerful and exciting M3/M4 to date. With production limited to only 700 copies, the vehicle is also one of the most exclusive cars to come from the Bavarian company.

It was revealed all of the examples that will be manufactured have already been pre-sold and now we have unofficial allocation numbers. They confirm the United States will be the biggest market for the model with 300 examples, followed by Germany with 80, and Canada with 50.

China, currently the biggest single market for BMW, is getting only 15 cars, while the United Kingdom and Japan will receive 30 units each. Countries like Norway, Taiwan, and Denmark will have only one lucky customer to get the M4 GTS.

In Spain, a relatively big market for BMW, the company will offer 60 units of the less hardcore M4 CS that comes with rear seats, 20-inch silver wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, and an adaptive M chassis. Power comes from the same 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine, producing less than 500 horsepower (368 kilowatts).

BMW is producing the M4 GTS at the same place where it assembles the M6 GT3 and M135i Cup race cars. In fact, the special model starts out as a regular M4 Coupe and then goes to BMW M division for additional work, bringing all the upgrades. The automaker will produce only five copies of the car each cay.

In Germany the sports coupe has a starting price of €146,200, while U.K. customers will have to pay at least £121,700.
