The model will be joining the E-Class range next year.

Mercedes-Benz is busy testing the next generation E-Class Coupe and we have another spy video of a prototype, filmed somewhere in Germany.

It was last week when we shared a batch of spy shots of the sporty vehicle and now we have the chance to see it in motion. Still covered under heavy camouflage, the E-Class Coupe features a sexy profile with gently sloping roof and muscular rear fenders. Again, the prototype is wearing a single bar grille with mesh inserts, but most likely the different trim levels of the production model will be available with different fascias.

We are still about a year away from the official debut of the coupe, but reports suggest it will be offered with a wide range of petrol and diesel engines, including a 2.0-liter turbo with 241 horsepower (177 kilowatts) and 3.0 V6 biturbo with 396 hp (291 kW) and 384 pound feet (520 newton meters) of torque. A range-topping E63 model is expected to join the range before the end of 2017 with outputs of 571 hp (380 kW) and 612 hp (450 kW).

The current E-Class Sedan debuted at the 2016 NAIAS in Detroit and will be followed by the E-Class Estate (T-Model) in Paris this fall. Look for the Coupe in Geneva next year, hitting the market in early 2018.
