Car runs from 0-62 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds.
The BMW M4 Convertible is one of the most engaging four-seaters on the market but that hasn't stopped G-Power from trying to improve things.
Starting under the hood, the tuning firm installed a Bi-Tronik 2 V1-ECU remap to increase the output of the 3.0-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine to 520 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. That's a pretty impressive increase of 89 hp and 110 lb-ft of torque but G-Power didn't stop there as employees also installed a larger turbocharger, new downpipes, and a titanium exhaust system with carbon fiber finishers.
Thanks to all the aforementioned modifications, the convertible produces 600 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque - an overall increase of 169 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the extra power and the removal of the speed limiter, the car can accelerate from 0-62 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds before hitting a top speed in excess of 198 mph.
To keep things under control, the model has been equipped with a coilover suspension and 21-inch G-Power Hurricane RR forged alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance tires.
The components can be bought individually but the modifications to this particular car cost over $25,295 (€22,332).
BMW M4 Convertible by G-Power
G-Power M4 (F83): 600hp in the one of the world’s fastest M4 Convertibles!
The BMW M4 Coupe is a rapid driving machine out of the box. But with three decades of experience in extracting every last drop of latent potential from BMW’s sporty models, setting numerous high-speed world records in the process, G-POWER has now turned the M4 into a razor sharp weapon.
Using just their Bi-Tronik 2 V1-ECU remap, G-POWER initially raises the 431 hp and 550 Nm of the factory fresh 3.0-litre turbocharged inline six-cylinder motor to an impressive 520 hp, accompanied by 700 Nm of torque.
Now, using an ingenious combination of hardware and software upgrades. G-POWER has extracted supercar levels of power from the M4 motor, with a full 600 hp at 6,500 rpm and 740 Nm of torque between 4,000 and 5,500 rpm.
Key Facts: G-POWER M4 (F83)

One of the keys to this is the individual engine software customisation of the
Bi-Tronik 2 V3. Importantly, the extra power extracted from the S55B30 engine is a function of the oil and water temperatures, and respects all its OE protection and diagnostic functions.
Since the standard turbocharger system cannot flow enough air to reach these heady power levels, G-POWER carry out significant modifications. The most significant of these is the replacement of the standard compressor wheel with a larger precision CNC milled unit, developed and manufactured in-house by G-POWER’s engineering team.
Various other modifications are carried out to improve the flow rate and speed and volume, resulting in a big increase in efficiency. As the new wheel is also lighter, inertia and spin up time are reduced, which results in better throttle response.
At the same time the engineers addressed the exhaust turbine wheel, which uses curved turbine blades with capped ends to ensure reduced exhaust gas temperatures. This in itself allows the use of higher boost pressures.
The turbocharger housing had to be machined out to accommodate the new compressor and exhaust turbine wheels, and internal gas flow optimisation was also carried out. Finally, dynamic fine balancing ensures long-term reliability of the unit.
The G-POWER M4 Convertible now leaps off the line, hitting 100km/h in just 3.7 seconds. And thanks to the removal of the electronic Vmax limiter, it easily strides up to over 320km/h.
The exhaust note is a very important ingredient for the enthusiast engineers at G-POWER, who put a lot of effort into creating the hearty soundtrack that accompanies their M4 Convertible’s incredible performance. Crafted from titanium, the bespoke ultra-lightweight exhaust system delivers rousing ear candy from its four 90-millimeter carbon fibre tailpipes.
To ensure the uprated M-Cabriolet maintains perfect road manners,
G-POWER install their G4M RS fully adjustable coilover suspension, and a set of HURRICANE RR forged alloy wheels in 9.0J x 21 and 10.5J x 21 inch sizes, shod with 245/30R21 and 295/25R21 high performance tyres.
