Video game crossover is a blast from the past.
Thanks to a partnership between Bethesda Game Studios and Turn 10 Studios, Forza Motorsport 6 owners will soon be able to get behind the off the micro fusion-powered Chryslus Rocket ‘69 from Fallout 4.
Looking downright gorgeous, the retro-inspired Rocket ‘69 has a bubble roof and turbines accents. The car also has massive tailfins, white-wall tires, and a jet fighter style cockpit.
Turn 10 Studios declined to release detailed specifications but the video suggests the Rocket ‘69 has a one gear transmission that enables the model to hit a top speed in excess of 200 miles per hour. That's almost enough to make you forget about Boston's destruction during a devastating nuclear war.
Codes for the Chryslus Rocket '69 will be sent out via Xbox Live messages to people who have played either Forza Motorsport 6 or Fallout 4 on Xbox One while connected to their Xbox Live profile. Unfortunately, due to the millions of invites that are being sent out it can take up to seven days for a code to arrive.
In the coming days and weeks, Forza Motorsport will be releasing more details about the Rocket ’69 including a special interview which discusses the creation of the car.
