Take a closer look at McLaren's newest member of the Sport Series lineup.
Originally unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the 570GT follows in the footsteps of the 570S Coupe but is distinguished by a new glass hatch that opens sideways to provide access to a leather-lined "Touring Deck" with 7.7 cubic feet of storage. The luxury-oriented model also features a panoramic glass roof, a larger rear spoiler, and bespoke Pirelli P Zero tires that are designed to deliver a more comfortable ride.
The interior largely carries over from the coupe as it boasts a digital instrument cluster, premium leather upholstery, and eight-way power adjustable sport seats. A closer inspection reveals a power steering column, a dual-zone climate control system, and an eight-speaker audio system that is controlled by an infotainment system with a seven-inch display.
Motivation is provided by a 3.8-liter biturbo V8 engine that produces 570 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed seamless-shift transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0-62 miles per hour in 3.4 seconds before hitting a top speed of 204 mph.
