Nissan's luxury brand with best ever first quarter in history.
Infiniti has recorded its best-ever global monthly sales in March with 22 percent more deliveries than the same month in 2015.
Nissan’s luxury division is proudly reporting an all-time high sales record with more than 24,900 vehicles delivered globally last month. This is the 19th consecutive month with global year-on-year growth for the company which managed to sell 57,200 vehicles in the first quarter of the year. These results represent the best ever first quarter in Infiniti's history with 9-percent increase compared to Q1 of 2015.
China sales are up by 14 percent with a total of 3,800 deliveries, while in Western Europe the premium brand sold more than 3,900 vehicles. In the Americas (U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Latin America), Infiniti found 15,100 new customers and currently takes the fifth place among premium brands in the United States.
“I am very encouraged by the record sales results in March and the excellent performance in the first quarter of the year,” Roland Krueger, president of Infiniti Motor Company, commented. “We are confident that we can continue and even accelerate this momentum as we will be launching an array of new vehicles such as the QX30 and the Q60 throughout the year.”
