The 2016 Kia K900 US Spec has received a more feature-rich UVO infotainment system.

The standard 311-hp 3.8-liter V6 engine is not the only novelty prepared by Kia for the K900 model year 2016 in United States, as the company’s flagship model now has an upgraded LTE-enabled infotainment system with support for “UVO Luxury Services.” Available exclusively on the K900, the software enables access to Google-powered local search, as well as remote vehicle command, and even a dealership appointment system.

By downloading the UVO Luxury Services app from either Google Play or iTunes, owners will be able to remotely start/stop the car, pre-condition the interior cabin temperature, and unlock/lock the doors. There’s also support for curfew and speed alerts, Geofence settings, and a variety of maintenance and infotainment functions. These include manual and automatic diagnostics, roadside assist, driving information, scheduled diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, car care web, and others.

Prospect 2016 Kia K900 buyers in United States will be happy to hear that UVO Luxury Services will be offered for free during the first five years of ownership. Other standard equipment you get with the base model includes leather upholstery, navigation, and a panoramic sunroof.

The 2016 model year brings fresh 18-inch wheels for the V6 version and new 19-inch chrome alloys if you go for the beefier V8 model. Kia is also adding a smart power trunk feature which will automatically open the trunk once the sensors will detect the key fob is near the deck lid for more than three seconds.
