Lexus and L.A. Clippers will raffle a one-off RC F and all proceeds will be donated.
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase until tomorrow at $100 a pop and the winner will drive home with a special brand new Lexus RC F featuring a Los Angeles Clippers theme. The high-performance coupe wears the basketball team’s livery and comes with a buzzer horn. It also has a modified navigation system voiced by the team’s coach Doc Rivers and the sound comes out of those custom speaker grilles shaped to mimic a basketball.
In addition, there are a bunch of Clippers logos and a custom locker room trunk where you will find a lot of memorabilia. The car’s standard dashboard clock has been replaced by a game clock and there are also Clippers Nation-embroidered seats, a modified steering wheel, and backboard-like red LED lights around the windshield.
There aren’t any mechanical changes, so this one-off Lexus RC F continues to have a naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine pushing out 467 horsepower and 389 pound-feet of torque. It runs the 0-60 mph (0-96 kph) sprint in a mere 4.4 seconds and will continue to accelerate up to 168 mph (270 kph).
All of the money generated by the raffle will be directed to the Clippers Foundation that helps children in the Los Angeles region.
