Nissan is getting into the April Fool's Day spirit by releasing a new viral video for the NV Cargo Van.

In the clip, Nissan invites Formula Drift driver Chris Forsberg to take a spin in the 370Z.  However, this is just a clever ruse as the company actually wants him to drift a specially prepared NV Cargo Van.

The end result is pretty interesting as it's unusual to see a massive cargo van drifting around a specially designed course in an industrial complex.  Of course, the process wasn't as simple as it appears in the video as the van needed at least six different tire changes and a handful of shots required multiple takes.

Nissan didn't have much to say about the van but it is based on the NV3500 HD which can be equipped with either a 4.0-liter V6 engine that develops 261 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque or a 5.6-liter V8 which cranks out 317 hp and 385 lb-ft of torque.  Both engines are connected to a five-speed automatic transmission but the NV "Drift Van" appears to feature a manual transmission.
