Russian tuner Total Race has created a rather demonic Audi RS7 Sportback.
Work started on the car with a stage 1 kit that brought some software tweaks to the biturbo 4.0-liter V8 engine and then the stage 2 added a custom stainless steel exhaust system. For the stage 3 program, Total Race installed a new turbocharger and a modified version of the stage 2’s exhaust. As for stage 4, new custom manifolds were added and revamped intercoolers along with other undisclosed improvements.
Using race fuel, the car is capable of delivering 955 horsepower and 1,235 newton meters of torque at the wheel. The Russian tuner says there was a loss of approximately 20% and the engine in fact generates around 1,200 hp and 1,540 Nm.
The attached video shows what Total Race is describing a stage 10 kit for the RS7 Sportback. It’s obviously an exaggeration, but we see the car has received two external turbochargers and who knows what sort of other changes have been implemented. This is an evolution of the stage 4 kit, so those output numbers could have increased even further.
As far as performances are concerned, the stage 4 Audi RS7 is said to run the sprint to 62 mph (100 kph) in two and a half seconds. However, this all seems over the top, so we’ll believe it when we’ll see it.
