Revamped show to launch in May.
Top Gear has published the first teaser video of the upcoming new season of the show.
Chris Evans joined BBC’s Top Gear last year to replace Jeremy Clarkson as a lead host of the production following the so-called “fracas scandal.” Earlier this year it was revealed Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris, Eddie Jordan, Sabine Schmitz, Rory Reid, and the mysterious The Stig will complete the cast.
Preparing for the launch of the new series in May this year, Top Gear has just released a trailer, revealing the show won’t lose its dizzying quality and will feature a lot of special vehicles. These include the McLaren 675 LT, Ferrari’s F12 Tdf, Ariel Nomad, and, um, a pair of Reliant three-wheelers. Just like before, there’s also much drifting and lots of tire smoke.
Top Gear says “we’ll bring you more before the new series kicks off in May,” asking us to “sit back, turn it up and watch the new trailer.” It includes “an 820 hp Aston Vulcan at Yas Marina. At night. Doing donuts.”
