Ferrari has released a new video which highlights the Deserto Rosso which took place in the Liwa desert earlier this year.
Created by Ferrari Middle East and Africa, the clip highlights the first California T owner’s gathering which took place over a two-day weekend. The exclusive event was attended by a "handpicked selection" of Ferrari owners and connoisseurs who were invited to bask in the glory of the Arabian Desert and enjoy relaxing evenings at private parties.
Ferrari says the event was a huge success as it "paid tribute to one of the most successful Ferrari models ever and its proud customers." The company went on to say the Deserto Rosso allowed owners to immerse themselves in the "unique characteristics" of the California T.
As we have previously reported, the California T was unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show with a turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 engine that produces 560 horsepower and 557 pound-feet of torque. The engine is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which enables the convertible to accelerate from 0-62 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds before hitting a top speed of 196 mph.
