First-generation Audi R8 gets a radical makeover from Japanese tuner Liberty Walk.
Audi has been selling the second-gen R8 for quite some time, but even so tuners are still showing their love for the first one which judging by some of your comments looked better. Known for its extravagant styling packages, Liberty Walk is now selling its full body kit for £14,413 in United Kingdom for the V8 model whereas the one tailored to the V10 costs £15,480.
The package encompasses custom front and rear diffusers, beefier side skirts, along with front and rear fender extensions. There’s also a massive rear spoiler and according to the tuner you can order these items individually, without having to go for the full kit. Those willing to pay more can also order the optional AirREX digitally adjustable air suspension applied on these cars which appear to be slammed to the road.
Interested buyers should know the body kit can be had in either carbon fiber or glass-reinforced plastic. Both of them have the same body add-ons, with the only difference being the bare carbon or shaded lacquer finish.
It’s only a matter of time until Liberty Walk will get its hands on a second-generation Audi R8 and create an equally flashy body kit catering a specific market as these designs are certainly not for everyone.
