Manhart is ready to infuse more power in the already very strong BMW X6 M high-performance SAV.

As if the standard BMW X6 M wasn’t already a beast, Manhart has fiddled with its biturbo 4.4-liter V8 engine and managed to take it to 700 horsepower (515 kilowatts) and a mountain-moving 701 pound-feet (950 newton meters) of torque.

This is a considerable bump over the series 575 hp (423 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm). The additional oomph was extracted by Manhart after remapping the engine’s ECU and fitting an aftermarket exhaust system with new downpipes and a modified rear silencer.

The tuner doesn’t say how fast the X6 M is now, but it should be significantly quicker than the stock version which runs to 62 mph (100 kph) in 4.2 seconds and tops out at an electronically-capped 155 mph (250 kph).

Besides packing more punch, the BMW X6 M by Manhart has also received a new set of large 22-inch Concave One wheels available in either black or silver finishes. For the interior there are yellow accents on the door panels, steering wheel, dashboard, and the center console, while the engine cover has received a similar treatment.

Needless to say, all of these goodies are also compatible with the BMW X5 M for which Manhart has already presented a similar kit back in December.
