Over the years, the specialists from Carlex Design have managed to impress us with their exceptional attention to detail and high quality craftsmanship. However, their latest build is not exactly our cup of tea as the chrome wrap on this custom body kit is too much and makes the GT-R look overly flashy.

The predominantly chrome look is combined with a black treatment for the hood, roof, trunk lid, and for the rear wing. There are also some red accents and a set of black alloy wheels while the quad exhaust tips have also been blacked out.

While the exterior can be described as being controversial, the cabin will likely suit more tastes as the finish selected by Carlex Design is not half bad. The GT-R’s interior has been dressed in a combination of black Alcantara with light grey and red leather while some of the bits and pieces have silver flake accents.

Known as the “Nissan GT-R ROBIN”, this R35 also gets a revamped steering wheel along with numerous carbon fiber inserts spread throughout the cabin. Overall, the interior tries to complement the body’s finish, but thankfully without overusing chrome accents.
