SEAT is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Alhambra MPV through a special edition bringing some extra kit.

It’s a rather quiet introduction for the limited-run people carrier taking into account everything about SEAT these days revolves around the company’s first SUV in history, the Ateca. It was two decades ago when the original Alhambra was introduced and now the latest model is being given some cosmetic tweaks to celebrate the milestone.

The Spanish MPV has received a set of 17-inch alloy wheels finished in high-gloss black, tinted xenon headlights, tinted side and rear windows, along with a big panorama glass sliding roof. SEAT has also made some changes inside where the Alhambra 20th Anniversary Edition benefits from dark Alcantara upholstery with light corn silk stitching while the sport front seats come with a massaging function.

As standard, the special Alhambra gets keyless entry and a hands-free tailgate which can be opened by waving your foot under the tailgate while the sliding doors can be opened and closed electrically. The Alhambra also receives a wide array of safety and assistance systems, including blind spot detection, light assistant, traffic sign recognition, and sat-nav with optional Full Link smartphone connectivity.

SEAT hasn’t specified so far how many units will be made and how much will the MPV cost.
