Nissan is demonstrating in Geneva the customization potential of the Qashqai and X-Trail crossovers through the Premium Concepts.

The Qashqai and X-Trail are big hits in Europe according to Nissan which is why the company is celebrating the success of the two crossovers with fresh liveries. The smaller Qashqai has received a matte black paint with golden cooper accents whereas the X-Trail has a matte white paint with deep black carbon-like trim.

Nissan mentions the Qashqai is targeting the “Premium Adventurist” and comes with soft white Nappa leather upholstery featuring a quilting look on the seats. The crossover also has faux carbon fiber and black satin chrome accents combined with a liquid gloss black trim.

As for the X-Trail, this one was designed for the “Premium Adventurist” and benefits from a natural tan and black leather upholstery that has a so-called “cloud effect” with gold leather piping. This one too blends carbon fiber-like accents with matte chrome black trim as a way to spice up the cabin.

It remains to be seen if any of these customizations will be offered for the production cars or the Premium Concepts were created just for the ongoing 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Providing more customization possibilities is certainly a good way to boost sales even further, so perhaps Nissan has plans to extend the list of goodies for the Qashqai and X-Trail crossovers to lure in more buyers.
