We are just a few hours away from the Bugatti Chiron’s official reveal and Italian media has managed to find out all the juicy technical specs.

Without further ado, the W16 8.0-liter engine with four turbochargers produces 1,500 PS (1,103 kW / 1,479 hp) at 6,700 rpm and 1,181 lb-ft (1,600 Nm) between 2,000 – 6,000 rpm. All that output is channeled to both axles through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox which enables the Chiron to achieve a maximum speed of 261 mph (420 kph) that will be electronically limited. There’s no word about the 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) sprint, but it is expected to take as little as 2.2 seconds.

The vehicle’s dimensions stand at 178.8 inches (4,544 mm) length, 80.2 inches (2,038 mm) width, and 47.7 inches (1,212 mm) height. The Geneva showcar seems to have a two-tone Atlantic Blue & French Racing Blue exterior combined with full leather Terre D’Or interior upholstery with French Racing Blue stitching.

Check back later tonight for full details and a complete photo gallery of Bugatti’s Veyron replacement.

Note: All the technical specs are for the pre-production vehicle. The final configuration of the Chiron could have slightly different numbers.
